This role focuses on transforming Zoom-recorded interviews into polished podcast episodes ready for YouTube and Spotify. While the creative direction, branding, and content strategy will be provided, you'll be responsible for ensuring every episode is professionally edited, properly formatted, and published consistently.

We're looking for someone who enjoys working independently, pays close attention to detail, and takes pride in delivering high-quality podcast productions.

Rate:

⭐ 5 GBP per hour

We don’t take a cut of your pay - ever.

You receive 100% of your full advertised rate - paid directly to you by your client. We never take a cut, percentage, or reduce your earnings in any way.

POTENTIAL TASKS

  • Edit Zoom podcast recordings into polished, engaging long-form videos
  • Export podcast-ready audio files for Spotify and other podcast platforms
  • Upload and schedule podcast episodes in YouTube Studio
  • Create optimized titles, descriptions, tags, and chapters
  • Organize playlists and maintain channel consistency
  • Help improve discoverability through YouTube best practice
  • Publish podcast episodes to Spotify for Podcasters
  • Maintain organized file structures within Google Drive or Dropbox
  • Track publishing schedules and completed episodes
  • Ensure all assets are correctly version-controlled and archived
  • Organize production files and project folders
  • Monitor episode publishing progress
  • Follow written briefs and AI-assisted production workflows
  • Support ongoing improvements to the podcast production process 

SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

  • Proven experience editing podcast videos from Zoom or similar recordings
  • Strong audio editing skills for podcast production
  • Experience managing YouTube channels and publishing workflows
  • Excellent written English and strong attention to detail
  • Ability to work independently and manage deadlines
  • Strong organizational skills and file management practices
  • Comfortable following structured production processes and written briefs
  • Reliable, proactive, and committed to producing consistent, high-quality work
  • Professional experience editing podcasts for YouTube and Spotify
  • Proficiency in Adobe Premiere Pro, Final Cut Pro, DaVinci Resolve, CapCut, or similar editing software
  • Experience using Audacity, Adobe Audition, or other audio editing software
  • Familiarity with YouTube Studio and Spotify for Podcasters
  • Experience working with leadership, coaching, education, or corporate content
  • Experience repurposing long-form podcasts into shorter promotional clips
  • Understanding of professional branding and executive-level content presentation 

Preferred but not required:

  • Experience editing leadership or coaching podcasts
  • Knowledge of YouTube SEO and podcast optimization
  • Familiarity with AI-assisted editing workflows
  • Experience creating podcast highlight clips for social media
  • Understanding of branding for thought leaders and professional service businesses
