We are looking for a creative, proactive, and self-motivated Marketing & Social Media Executive to join a growing property business. POTENTIAL TASKS
Social Media Management
- Manage and grow our social media pages, including Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Create a range of engaging content, including posts, stories, reels, graphics, captions, and campaign ideas.
- Increase follower growth, engagement, and interaction with relevant profiles, local businesses, property accounts, tenants, landlords, contractors, and potential clients.
- Plan and schedule social media content in line with monthly and quarterly marketing plans.
- Monitor performance and suggest improvements based on engagement, reach, follower growth, and enquiries.
- Stay up to date with social media trends and identify ways we can use these to improve our online presence.
Property Listings & Advertising
- Support with listings on platforms such as Airbnb and other short-term rental platforms.
- Help create attractive property descriptions, titles, photographs, and content ideas to make our properties stand out.
- Support with HMO and rental adverts, ensuring listings are professional, engaging, and targeted to the right audience.
- Review current property adverts and suggest improvements to increase enquiries and conversions.
- Assist with ideas around staging, photography, video content, and presentation of properties.
Content Creation & Design
- Create marketing materials such as posters, handouts, flyers, brochures, social media graphics, reels, and other visual content.
- Design blog content for the website, helping to improve our online presence and provide useful information to our target markets.
- Support with website content, layout ideas, branding consistency, and general improvements to make the business look more professional.
- Help improve smaller brand touchpoints such as email signatures, document templates, presentation materials, and client-facing communications.
- Ensure all marketing materials are consistent with our tone of voice, brand style, and business values.
Marketing Planning & Strategy
- Create monthly and quarterly marketing plans for the business.
- Identify key target markets and tailor marketing activities towards them.
- Bring new ideas on how we can improve our marketing, brand presence, and customer engagement.
- Support with ideas for advertising budgets and paid campaigns, including where we should advertise and what results we should track.
- Help develop a wider marketing strategy beyond Instagram, including Facebook, LinkedIn, blogs, property platforms, printed materials, and website improvements.
- Review results regularly and provide clear feedback on what is working well and where improvements can be made.
- Researching keywords that potential customers use when searching for services.
- Optimizing website pages, blogs, and property listings with relevant keywords.
- Writing SEO-friendly content, including page titles, meta descriptions, and headings.
- Improving internal linking between website pages.
- Monitoring website performance using tools like Google Analytics and Google Search Console.
- Suggesting ways to improve website rankings and organic traffic.
- Ensuring images have descriptive alt text and pages follow SEO best practices.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
- Experience managing social media accounts, ideally for a business or brand.
- Strong understanding of Instagram, Facebook, and LinkedIn.
- Confident creating posts, reels, stories, captions, and marketing content.
- Good writing skills, with the ability to create clear, engaging, and professional copy.
- Experience using design tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, CapCut, or similar platforms.
- Ability to create visually appealing marketing materials, social media graphics, and property adverts.
- Understanding target audiences and how to tailor content to different markets.
- Strong organizational skills, with the ability to create and manage content plans.
- Creative mindset with the confidence to bring ideas forward.
- Self-motivated, proactive, and able to work independently without being micromanaged.
- An interest in property, interiors, hospitality, lettings, or serviced accommodation would be beneficial.
- Experience using social media scheduling tools and content planning platforms, such as Hootsuite, Later, Buffer, Meta Business Suite, Canva Content Planner, Notion, Trello, or similar.
- Confident planning, scheduling, and organizing content in advance across multiple platforms, ensuring posts, stories, reels, and campaigns are delivered consistently and in line with the wider marketing plan.
- Knowledge of SEO principles, including keyword research and on-page optimization, to enhance website performance.
- Familiarity with SEO techniques to support organic website traffic growth and online visibility.
