We are seeking a Digital Marketing & Analytics Specialist to help clients become more sophisticated and strategic in their digital presence.
This role blends SEO, website optimisation (Squarespace), analytics, paid ads, and creative content to drive direct bookings, quality web traffic, email sign-ups, and social engagement. The right candidate will be able to audit what’s currently in place, advise on what needs improving, and implement the changes—not just follow rigid instructions.

POTENTIAL TASKS
Website Management (Squarespace)
- Maintain and update the Squarespace website, including pages, layouts, copy, galleries, menus, and landing pages. Ensure mobile responsiveness, clean navigation, and a smooth user journey for room and restaurant bookings. Apply on-page SEO best practices (metadata, URLs, alt tags, headings).
SEO & Website Optimisation
- Conduct SEO audits to identify gaps and quick wins. Research and target relevant keywords (especially for local/UK guests and direct bookings). Optimise site structure, internal linking, and content to improve organic visibility and search rankings.
Analytics & Reporting (GA4 / Search Console)
- Set up or refine GA4, Google Search Console, and other tracking tools as needed. Create simple monthly dashboards and reports covering traffic, sources, behaviour, conversions, and performance trends. Translate data into clear recommendations (what’s working, what to adjust).
Paid Advertising (Google & Meta)
- Plan, set up, and optimise Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns focused on direct bookings, offers, and list growth. Test creatives, audiences, placements, and bidding strategies. Monitor CPC, CTR, conversion rate, and ROAS, and suggest improvements regularly.
Content & Social Media (Instagram & Facebook)
- Support content planning and execution for Instagram and Facebook with the Creative Director. Align posts with brand storytelling, seasonal offers, and booking priorities. Help brief or repurpose photos/videos for social and web use. Draft or refine captions to maintain a warm, artistic, and on-brand voice.
Local SEO & Digital Housekeeping (Listings/NAP)
- Maintain up-to-date and consistent business details (name, address, phone, hours, links) across Google Business Profile, key directories, and relevant platforms. Keep listings fresh with new photos, seasonal descriptions, and updates that support local search and guest trust.
Booking Systems & Insights (Future Scope)
- Over time, pull reports and data from room and restaurant booking systems to help identify gaps, patterns, and opportunities (e.g., low-occupancy periods, underbooked services). Use these insights to inform marketing decisions, campaigns, and offers.
Light Admin & Guest Support (Nice-to-Have)
- Occasionally support the existing VA with selected inbox/booking tasks on specific days, to free them up for project work -only where it naturally aligns with your understanding of the booking systems and guest journey (not a core focus of the role).
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

- Confident in using GA4 and Google Search Console for measurement and reporting.
- Practical experience running and optimising Google Ads and Meta (Facebook/Instagram) campaigns.
- Strong aesthetic sensibility and genuine interest in design-led, hospitality/lifestyle brands.
- Excellent written and spoken English; able to write clear, on-brand copy for web and social. • Data-driven mindset with good attention to detail and the ability to turn numbers into actions.
- Comfortable collaborating with a creative lead while also working independently on execution.
Nice to Have:

- Familiarity with SEO tools such as Ahrefs, SEMrush, or Moz.
