We are looking for an experienced Xero Bookkeeper / Outsourced Finance Manager who can manage multi-company bookkeeping, keep accounts clean month-to-month, and produce useful management reporting. This is not a VAT-only role - we want someone who runs a proper month-end process and stays ahead.

⭐ 4-6 GBP per hour
POTENTIAL TASKS
- Manage bookkeeping across 4 companies + holding company
- Weekly bank and credit card reconciliations
- Maintain accurate coding of transactions and ensure documentation is attached
- Supplier invoice processing and expense categorisation
- Reconcile key balance sheet accounts (VAT, loans, intercompany, director loan accounts)
- Prepare and submit quarterly VAT returns
- Liaise with accountants to ensure clean year-end handover
- Set up and maintain strong Xero workflows (bank rules, automation, reporting structure)
Reporting Requirements
- Produce a monthly reporting pack (P&L, balance sheet snapshot, cash position)
- Implement and maintain profit & loss reporting per property (R2R model)
- Implement and maintain profit & loss reporting per property (Development & HMO model)
- Track and report director business expenditure for internal insight without impacting statutory/tax treatment
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
- 3+ years hands-on experience with Xero
- Xero Projects or cost tracking, categories & per project reports
- Property business experience (R2R, investment, serviced accommodation, etc.)
- Strong UK bookkeeping and VAT knowledge
- Experience producing management accounts / monthly reporting
- Confident with reconciliations and balance sheet control
- Experience with director loan accounts
- Experience working across multiple companies (highly important)
Desirable (Bonus) Experience:
- Experience with intercompany transactions and holding companies
- Cashflow forecasting / budgeting
- Process documentation / SOP building
