We’re looking for a qualified and experienced Virtual Accountant to support finance operations remotely. You’ll be responsible for handling a range of accounting tasks including producing statutory accounts, general ledger management, and ensuring compliance with financial reporting standards. This is ideal for someone with strong attention to detail, excellent software skills, and a proactive mindset. Candidates with strong general accounting backgrounds will be considered, as long as their understanding is solid and they are open to learning region-specific standards where necessary.

POTENTIAL TASKS
- Produce and manage statutory accounts in accordance with applicable standards
- Handle general ledger functions and month-end/year-end close processes
- Use QuickBooks, Xero, and MS Excel (including formulas, pivot tables, and VLOOKUP) for day-to-day accounting
- Prepare and interpret financial statements
- Understand and apply relevant tax principles; willingness to learn UK-specific compliance if required
- Manage multiple accounting tasks and deliverables simultaneously
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED

Recognized accountancy qualification (e.g., CPA, ACCA, CA)

Minimum 3 years of relevant accounting experience

Proficient in QuickBooks and/or Xero
