We are looking for a part-time specialist Graphic Designer / Canva Marketing Image Asset Designer to produce a defined set of monthly image assets in Canva.
The role requires someone with a strong design eye, excellent Canva skills, and the ability to create clean, professional assets from briefs, brand guidelines, templates, and reference materials.
This is not a “VA who can use Canva” role. We need someone with a real graphic design portfolio and the ability to produce consistent, brand-aligned visual assets every month.
Work Hours:
⭐ Approx. 20–25 hours per month, flexible hours within agreed monthly deadlines
Rate:
⭐ £275/month fixed retainer
POTENTIAL TASKS
Monthly Canva Asset Production
- Create approximately 57 marketing image assets per month across two content streams: B2B and Co-Managed.
Social Post Images
- Design 23 social post images per month, made up of 15 B2B images and 8 Co-Managed images, for use on LinkedIn and other social platforms.
Blog / Google / Newsletter Images
- Create 8 blog images, 8 Google Business update images, and 8 LinkedIn newsletter images per month, following the supplied content and brief.
Guide Cover Adaptations
- Adapt 10 supplied guide cover images into multiple formats and sizes each month, including crops and resizes for uses such as email signatures and other marketing placements.
Image Search & Visual Selection
- Source suitable images where required using the provided free image library and choose visuals that support the content while staying aligned with the brand style.
Brand Consistency & Creative Variation
- Maintain consistent quality and brand alignment while ensuring the monthly assets do not look repetitive. Each image should feel distinct while still fitting the business style.
Canva File Management
- Save all assets into the correct Canva folders using specified naming conventions. Deliver Canva source/template links and exported JPEG versions of each asset.
Deadline Management
- Work from a monthly brief, manage time effectively, flag questions early, and deliver all required assets within the agreed monthly deadline schedule.
SKILLS/EXPERIENCES REQUIRED
- Must provide strong examples of Canva or graphic design work. Portfolio quality is essential.
- Strong hands-on Canva skills, able to create polished marketing image assets from scratch and adapt existing designs into different formats.
- Good eye for layout, typography, spacing, hierarchy, color, and visual consistency. Able to follow brand guidelines accurately.
- Able to produce repeatable monthly assets while keeping designs fresh and varied. Comfortable working across multiple content formats.
- Able to work from provided text, briefs, templates, reference examples, and brand guidelines without needing heavy supervision.
- Strong accuracy with file naming, folder organization, exports, links, sizing, and formatting.
- Good written and spoken English. Proactive in asking questions early if anything is unclear.
